I fear that I am ordinary just like everyone. Right now I have a few major fears in my life. An ordinary life is one of them. My grandfather smuggled bibles into Poland when it was illegal to think about doing so. My father was in the first ground unit to cross into Iraq in Operation Desert Storm. What do I have so far? I think that you are far from ordinary. I have been enjoying reading your posts and from what I remember of you, you are one of the least ordinary people that I know. This is a compliment, by the way. I understand not wanting to lead an ordinary life. I fear the same thing. I haven't done anything. I write music.... that's about it.

Why do you fear failing as a husband? I'm sure that you are a great one.

Writing music isn't an "That's about it" type of thing. Writing music (real music mind you and not the mass-produced dribble that dominates the radio) is simply amazing.

I fear failing as a husband simply because I fear the pain that it would cause Jenne. She deserves far better. I'm not saying that I am currently failing her but I also know that there are a lot of things that I need to improve on and they bother me.

There are a lot of things that we all need to work on. Love is hard. It is easier to hate than love. I definitely didn't do things right the first time around. I know how you feel.

if you haven't read "the five love languages", do so: it will really change how you communicate with Jenne. And so long as you keep communicating, you can address any problems that come along in your life together.
