They're all really chill, except one guy that was described as "explosive and destructive" with some "self-injurious" tendencies if he doesn't get his way. I need help naming two baby girl rats. They're 7 weeks old and they're sisters.

NOTE: I'm NOT going to name them Butt, Annie's Boobs, Bubonic, or Plague.

It's time to adopt new baby rats. I've asked a lot of people about it and the response was overwhelmingly positive - if they make me happy and if I have a cage (thanks for the Christmas present, guys!) and if my vet bills from the last rats have been paid off (last December), then I should adopt healthy rats from a healthy line from a breeder. Finished paying off my vet bills as of right now. Just waiting for the payment to go through.

I'm cat-sitting for a friend's housemate. One cat is 15 and diabetic and needs insulin shots twice a day so I had to be taught how to do it. I just have to put the needle in the skin on his neck and shoot it in, I don't have to find a vein or anything, luckily ( Read more... )

I've finished 41 books so far this year. I'm not going to reach my goal of 50 (someday I want to get 52, one for each week of the year) and I only have another 20 days before 2013. Maybe I can reach 45, though. Still, a lot better than 2011 where I only managed 15 books.

Managed to get a 10-day non-severely handicapped special day class substitute teaching assignment from the 10th to the 20th. This will get me within 7 work days of my pay bump ( Read more... )
