I'm finally having a good time up here!

Steph and I have been meaning to go to a comic convention since...forever. We always seemed to miss the ones (one?) in Arizona because we were either busy/lazy or it was too hot. This week was pretty epic because not one but two video games were checked off the "need to be finished" list. Let me 'splain. Steph and I are notorious for buying video games that we don't have time to play. So I got the job. I now work at WSU's library a full 15 hours a week. Hey, it's better than nothing. Everyone is super nice, and the work is similar to what I did at NAU. I'm only a temp (this part is the most embarrassing), but they are thinking about trying to find me more permanent work. I look forward to it ( Read more... )

We had another show last Saturday that went really well. Pretty much everyone that I invited specially turned up. It was the last show Steph and I will do in Flagstaff before we move. I learned to eat fire yesterday, at a workshop that circus member Dan put on for us. So freakin' fun! The coolest thing I can do so far is the tongue transfer, but I was too light-headed to try fire breathing. Also some of the repercussions of doing said fire breathing were really dangerous, and my asthma lungs have probably taken a beating ( Read more... )
