I had my first wedding gown fitting today. I got to see MY dress! I put it on for the first time--the dress that I will wear when I get married. It was so amazingly gorgeous and I couldn't love it any more. I felt like royalty in it. I never thought I would ever wear anything so beautiful. I'm still in Virginia, having a great time visiting with my family and friends. I've spent most of this week planning my wedding, and I've made great progress! Tomorrow morning I have my first dress fitting, which means that I get to try on the actual gown that I'll be wearing. I can't wait. Hello from Virginia! I'm visiting my parents for a couple weeks, and it's so good to be home. Today my parents and I walked around DC to see the monuments and cherry blossoms, and then we went to one of my favorite restaurants in the Arlington neighborhood where I used to live.
