I'm going to Las Vegas today! I'm heading to the annual conference of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). I'm really excited, because I've never been to Vegas before, and I'm looking forward to all the educational and networking opportunities at the conference. The weather here is completely erratic. On Saturday it was 70 degrees, and felt hot in the sunshine. Sunday it snowed 4 inches and never got above freezing. It snowed all day Monday, too, but today the sun came out. Ally and I took a walk at Rock Ledge Ranch over near the Garden of the Gods.

At Palmer High School, in downtown Colorado Springs, a group of students attempted to organize a Gay Straight Alliance club. The school district refused their request, and the students sued the district for violation of civil liberties.
