Boy meets girl. Boy and girl become good friends. Girl likes boy as more than friends. Boy says he likes girl as friend. Boy and girl hang out several times. Girl is completely direct and to the point about feelings and thoughts and everything (so not like normal). Boy is very very very unclear, unclear to the point it's very annoying. Girl has no idea what the hell the boy is thinking. He says he likes her and likes hanging out with her and wants to hang out more to see where it goes. But how does girl know if he's just saying that because he doesn't want girl to walk out of his life forever. Boy and girl hang out. Girl gets first kiss from boy, a kiss that lasts a long long time (*wink wink nudge nudge* lol). Girl is floating on cloud 9, but knows that deep in her heart, it can't work out, right? Boy finally talks to girl 2 weeks later and breaks her heart. Boy says he had a great time the night they hung out, but his priorities don't allow room for girl. I had posted the best, most empowering comment to your comment while I was at work. And now I come home to double check, and it's not here. Work is LAME.
Anyways. I hope you're feeling better. I have a book that might serve you well, and it's a quick easy read to boot! (Trust me, I have NO time at all to be reading and I finished it in a day!) Let me know if you would prefer me to mail it or if you would rather wait until you get home and I can drop it off. Your call.
Umm, I guess just wait until I get home. I'm home May 12, which isn't too long from now and I don't want you to have to pay to send me the book.
I am feeling better. I think all of this affected me more than I thought it would, which scares me. But he was my first kiss and I thought he was different. I guess life doesn't always go the way you want it to.
Boy meets girl. Boy and girl become good friends. Boy and girl talk about becoming more. Girl is blatant, to the point, and concise. Boy flounders around, avoiding bluntness, and comes across like an inarticulate nitwit. Girl dumps boy.
Next time go with that version.
Steph, you don't have the time to deal with this ambiguous crap. Stop trying to find time.
You're SO right...chatti5643April 25 2007, 00:17:42 UTC
That it's sad. lol
What's worse is that girl makes excuses for boy. Meh.
But you're right. I must move forward. After all, this boy isn't all I'm about... I have a career and an education to focus my energies on. No point wasting my time at all.
