Today was the last day of work for the year. The day after tomorrow is Christmas. This is the first place I've worked that has closed for Christmas. It's exciting.
At the start of the year I made a post where I asked questions/made predictions to go back to at the end of the year. Well here we are and here they are.

I'm feeling a lot more settled in my new home. I'm going back less frequently although when I do go back I'm usually reluctant to leave. Today I went back to my parent's place and when the cat saw me he got up and sat in my lap. I actually spent a large portion of my visit sitting on the couch with the cat. I have decided to try and have many mini solo adventures as a way of getting to know my new home. Update
Yay first day of spring! Too bad about the weather, though XP.
Eh. I am tried, stressed and craving junk food like you wouldn't believe. Trying to stay positive. Telling myself it's almost over/I can do this/there's still time to turn things around I just have to work super hard. Yay. -
Stuff
I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon and a placement in the morning. I’m in the midst of my fourth cold in a row (I think I’ve been illness free for a total of maybe 2.5 weeks since mid May). My supp exam is taking place the day after my final thesis manuscript is due (and I have a clinic the day before thesis is due). Work means I’m missing ( Read more... )
