its funny how quickly life can get turned upside down. i am not sure if this job really is for me. i love working with the animals and i dont mind getting bit/scratched/peed on- but it kills me when animals have to be put down. i understand that the animals are in pain and that it truly is the most humane thing to do but watching the families mourn ( Read more... )

so i found out that for now i dont need to get anymore surgery. lets all give a giant sigh of relief. i have to go back to the icky doctor in three months to see if there are any changes but i am pumping in the folic acid which is supposed to help cells from turning cancerous. having vaginal chunks taken from me without any pain meds whatsoever was ( Read more... )

so today was my first surgery. it was ok. fucking hurt- but what can i expect having my insides cut away with out any pain medicine to feel like? my doctor is sending more cells to the lab. if they come back negitive for cancer i am in the clear for three months at least- if they dont then i have to go into the hospital to have the skin scraped ( Read more... )

i got a full time real job. i am going to be an animal attendent at an animal hospital. i start at 9 hr but after 3 months i go up to ten plus i get health and dental benefits and 50% off all animal care that i need. that means that when i take the ferrets for their shots in november it will cost me 200 bucks instead of 400.
