Sorry, I can't find the last one on youtube in any other format than the volvo commercial. Still, I like her voice particularly in that song, and it's enough to get an idea.

I'm watching brain stem surgery on Japanese TV.  Surgery is not my cup of tea (peppermint tea is my cup of tea, which I am drinking presently).  It's nasty and nerve racking.  Seriously, I can't watch this.

Just as I was beginning to think that the spiders of late summer were nothing but a distant nightmare, I got an unwelcome reminder that this was not the case.  While cleaning today, I picked up a file folder sitting in the corner, and out from behind it sprung an eight legged monster.  Small for Japan, but quite large for Utah standards, I jumped ( Read more... )

I just did the math for the first time.  My car gets 20 miles per gallon.  Thing is, I'm paying $5.49 a gallon.  

Antibiotics ran out.  I'm getting sick again.  I guess it was bacterial.

I went to Osaka over the weekend.  Had a good time.  Didn't get much sleep all weekend.  Got back home 4am Monday morning and went to school at 8.  I was so tired I felt dizzy all day and had a hard time trying not to stumble.  I went bed at 7:30.  My mother called at 11:30 for some reason and woke me up.  I don't really remember the conversation, ( Read more... )

I'm not happy right now.  The day seemed to go well enough, until I went to get my paycheck and was told I hadn't payed a bill I thought I had.  I was told I had to pay it by transferring money with the ATM.  My supervisor tried to explain it to me, but I couldn't figure it out.  On the way to do that, I snagged one of my tires on a sharp curb and ( Read more... )
