Today marks the eighth anniversary of my maternal grandfather's death, after fighting valiantly and losing his battle to lung cancer.  Grandpa Estes, we love you and miss you dearly.  Live it up in Heaven, you've earned it!

It's felt more like September than Christmastime here lately.  The highs have been in the mid-70s all week, and lows have been in the mid-50s.  Well, we'll get a bit of reality today and tomorrow, as the temps will fall through the 50s and 40s today, all the way down to a low of 26F.  Then it'll be 47F for a high tomorrow.  Tuesday will be about ( Read more... )
