My job, in very small words:

I help make sure that people don't know things about other people that they shouldn't. Sometimes I do this by talking to other people at my business, and sometimes I do this by training computers to do things. I am happiest when I'm training computers to do things, but that's not because I don't like people.

My dad just posted this photo on Facebook - my Grandpa Ray and Pappa (read: great uncle Ken) right after WW2 ended. I wanted a very specific color of lipstick, so off I went to Sephora. They found the right color very quickly - hooray! - but then didn't have it in stock.

No problem, the saleslady said, let's just give you a free shipping coupon so that you can buy it online.
