I woke up this morning feeling great about my body, which was delightful. Then I learned that people think that Christina Hendricks' curves are 'imperfections' and that Lady Gaga is 'meaty'.

I still feel great about my body, but I feel awful about humanity.

Con: Got a flat tire on the way to work today
Pro: I keep my patch kit, a spare tube, and a hand pump on my bike at all times.
Pro: It happened in an out-of the-way spot so at least I didn't get catcalled while I was fixing it. (BTW, drivers who catcall me? Go to hell.)

Congrats to everyone who won Hugos, but I am expecially excited for papersky's win of Best Novel for Among Others!!!!

I win color theory: I dyed my hair a color called 'Blood Red', and it came out more magenta than red. So I did some research on how the other colors from that manufacturer come out, and acquired and applied a red that comes out very orangey in reality. Et voila, my hair now matches my red shirt pretty well.

I have finally gotten around to uploading an icon of Morgan.

That is all.

This makes me _unspeakably angry_. This is the sort of treatment I was afraid of when Morgan was born. Our hospital was incredibly awesome and we had no trouble, but when you leave shit like this up to individual organizations with little to nothing in the way of repercussions, bad shit happens. This is fucking unacceptable.
