For anyone watching the news this evening, Leaf & I are okay. We are checking in with friends & have heard back from most of them (thankfully). I had to put Pancake to sleep tonight. He took a nosedive within the past day or so & turned to mush. The vet's guess is that Pancake had a tumor that finally grew to be quite uncomfortable. I realized he wasn't moving much this evening & when I gave him his favorite treat, he wasn't using his hands to eat. Instead, his paws curled like tiny ( Read more... )

WHAT SHOULD I BE FOR HALLOWEEN?

Any suggestions would be very welcomed. I always wait until the last minute (as exhibited by my last costume: a radish). I don't want to wait until the last minute this year! Help!

Usually my bike rides take me about 40 minutes. 40 minutes to do 7-7.5 miles. Not great, but not bad. The point is that now I'm suddenly averaging about 30 minutes for the exact same ride! I think it's the squats because I certainly don't feel like I'm pushing myself any harder. 30 minutes to get to work is awesome!
