Everyone brought here leaves, eventually, don't they? Well, guess not everyone. Not me. Maybe some others. Just people I knew, I guess. They never stay.

Ironic, isn't it? I'm used to being the one who leaves. Hard to get used to it being the other way around.

I seem to have missed quite a few things around here somehow. While I work on figuring out what the fuck happened and how I missed some time or something, would someone like to fill me in on what the hell's going on?

So it seems at least someone around here cares what happens to this city, though I've yet to be convinced there's anyone really in charge. Mayor? Believe it when I see it.

Whatever I expected my future to be, it wasn't this. If this is an afterlife, it's a strange one. Definitely not heaven and an odd sort of hell if it is one. Purgatory? Maybe.
