Thank you for your prayers for Fr. Edward. He's doing better now, has started talking, and according to his family, is becoming more like himself by the hour. He's still in the hospital for observation, and they still aren't sure exactly what caused his collapse. But the good news is that he's doing better. So thank you for your continued prayers!

This is AWESOME!

Utterly unrelated - I just finished Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Absolutely fantastic book. Heartbreaking in a resigned sort of way. Not quite sure why it hits me so deep, but I highly recommend it.

Something about this reminds me of my experience in grad school. Maybe its how I interact with the undergrads. Actually, I think my enzyme might be doing this sort of experimentation on me.

A friend just directed my attention to this site. It has to be one of the most disturbing sites I've run across in a long time (understand - conceptually disturbing, not R-rated or even PG-13-rated disturbing)
