I'm very disappointed in the United States Postal Service.  They don't deliver for 3 days straight, then the next two days, the mail doesn't come until after 5:30.

Will my honor band auditions ever get to the right places?  /sigh.  My bassoon concertos took forever to come in (but they're rocking...).

Gah.

I had my first piano lesson with Mrs. Toney yesterday.  It went really well.  I really like her, I think I could learn a lot from her.  I'll probably start taking from her full time next year.  I had to have a lesson with her yesterday on the Katchaturian Toccata I'm working on; Mrs. Regina refuses to help me with it, and it's beyond my mom's level ( Read more... )

All State was great.  I met a few new people (mostly in the flute section...
