Reflections on being a tomboy
Feeling a little maudlin at the moment as I hadn't realised until today that I had almost lost a part of myself. Many moons ago I used to love buying clothes and wearing skirts etc etc, I can despite appearances be very girly. So when is something 'too much'? That is to say is there a boundary line that has 'acceptable' on one side and 'unacceptable' on the other. Funnily enough after the news about my blood from the other day the latest news is from the Blood Donor Service. I'm always impressed by the ability of music to capture an emotion or alter an emotional state, certainly there a songs that can lift my high and others that can crush me and I suspect it's the same for everyone. And who's doing the emotional mood altering at the moment? Why the Scissor Sisters of course, the truly do have some excellent tracks... -
New Viewing Recommendation
A question - do you like zombie films? Another - do you dislike big brother? If you answered yes to both you owe it to yourself to watch Dead Set (you'll need to download or otherwise catch-up with episode one) but I just saw the first ep and thought it was great. Really looking forwards to episode 2 tonight! -
