Breda/Fury Fluff

I decided that I'd challenge myself to write soemthing complete in thirty minutes. This is the result. I'm not sure if I like it but here it is. I especially like the idea of Roy, Havoc and Heymans staggering and singing.

You know...I only started reading this pairing and because of these fics I am officially addicted. I probably wouldn't be able to do them justice if I tried writing them, but just the down-to-earth nature of the piece made me smile.

Like I said with your 20 sentences on Military_nerd (yes, I commented on that. I'm still going through the stuff on there though), your fluff isn't forced, and I love that.

Coincidentally, I was just re-reading 'Backseat', and I come onto fullservicefma and find this! *yay*. This was adorable, very sweet. I like the idea of the 'boys' out of a night; I can just see that lot getting drunk and Cain ending up the one left sober (the mention of a previous 'incident' was amusing). And you've put Mustang and Hawkeye married, which was a lovely touch. I like how you have this one from Cain's point of view, as most of the others are from Heymans'. Great as per usual. I'm glad you're still writing for this pairing/FMA fandomness.

(I'm working on my own Breda/Fury stuff at the moment, and...I probably wouldn't have gotton round to the idea without seeing your fics. So, thanks for giving me another pairing to work on! ;) )

Yes, you may friend me. And you write an unusual pairing believably and with emotion; that *is* good writing.

I've only got a little fic at the moment (I was hoping to post tonight, but then real work and nerves got in the way). I'm starting to discover that *writing* slash/yaoi is a lot harder than I thought. Imagining stuff in my mind is one thing (and a darn sight easier when my mind's-eye is doing all the visual work), but adding it to paper is another. I came up with a nice passage last night. It got scrawled onto a newspaper at 2am.

It'll be a small, PG-rated thing, 'cos I'm too nervous to try anything lengthy. But, it shall be completed! At some point soon when I calm down and actually look the thing again....*sigh*.
