I have a contractor coming over to take a look at the sinking water heater and I have a doctor's appointment for my very non-annual checkup. My eight to five has taken a somber turn. There's still levity, though it be mostly gallows humor. We massed in the Board Room yesterday to show our protest to the layoffs. When I started my current job over nine years ago, I recall that there were more than seven hundred people working here and that number was growing. After the recession in 2001-2003, we were at roughly six hundred. Since then we've grown back to approximately six fifty.
