We started getting rain and wind in my area Saturday afternoon. The worst of it for us was the last 24 hours. Its still raining and occasionally gusting but the worst of the storm has passed us. I was only without power for a couple hours this morning. Hope everyone further North is staying safe. My thoughts are with you.

The end of last week, my area was enjoying sun and temps in the lows 80s. Since Sunday it has been rainy and in the 50s or low 60s. It feels like Fall descended on us in the period of 12 hours. Holy crap, I am so abusive to my little toe. I stubbed it on a step stool in the kitchen.... really hard, that shooting pain where you tear up and immediately fall down and grab said toe. So, in my rare postings I mentioned buying and moving into a new place this spring. I am now a three minute walk to the Chesapeake Bay which I take advantage of quite often. Yep, once again it is time for the annual family vacation. It seems like every other year they are at Disney and so it is this year. I'm working tomorrow morning and then heading out. In my new home that is!! Closing and then moving yesterday was crazy stressful but I love the new place. The cats are adjusting well. I've emptied quite a few boxes and can't believe how many more I have to unpack. The neighbors have been great, a couple right next to me brought over a big package of berries while I was moving in.
