I consider The Ex to be to Punk what Louis Armstrong was to Jazz: innovative and full of spirit. They are incredibly intricate, rhythmic, political, lyrically brilliant, creative and danceable. I think Stephen Jay Gould is one of the most important figures on the 20th Century, for reals, and so finding part of his testimony to the Arkansas Creation Trial with a great soundtrack that makes me think of awesome hip hop kids with their little Critical Science flags and wonderful conviction in their rooms making this video made my moment.
