I am so stocked with food right now.  I switched meal plans yesterday, and it worked out that I had seventy bucks to blow before 8:00 this morning, so I went crazy and horded mass amounts of snacks and frozen dinners and drinks.  Even that wasn't enough to spend all the money though, so I took everyone out to Tuffy's on me.  Needless to say, it was ( Read more... )

First broomball game:  1-1 tie

We had the first goal early, and they scored with 13 seconds left.  It was a very epic game, filled with people falling over and swinging sticks at things and missing.  Also, lots of unnecessary shouting and name-calling and strategy that doesn't actually mean anything.

The past 24 hours have been extremely college-y.  I watched Donnie Darko with some of kids in the hall, and we stayed up til three discussing it (unfortunately, we couldn't manage to get into a coffeehouse to do it, otherwise the college image would've been complete).  We also continued the discussion and moved into religion and theology this ( Read more... )

Here's the story: I totally forgot about lj for the summer (surprise!). I was busy running around doing a whole bunch of stuff and spending time with people before I left for college, which is incidentally where I am now.  One of the principle ideas of college seems to be finding ways to kill massive amounts of time, and this is where lj fits in ( ( Read more... )
