Well, the kettle I posted about earlier, it's crap. After two uses it has decided to chip. I complained to KitchenAid Canada only to get a response from them that says I have to deal with KitchenAid USA as the kettles are not sold in Canada....um, I believe I was in Canada when I bought the kettle unless I missed something like a border crossing. I love the Amazon website. I usually buy off of it rather than Chapters because of the better selection and price. Well. With all of the hoopla about the Canadian dollar rising I decided to check out Amazon.com rather than Amazon.ca and boy was I surprised. Why is it that www.amazon.com is cheaper than www.amazon.ca ? Even when you factor in the international shipping and exchange you still end up paying less at www.amazon.com. I don't get it. For example, I was looking into purchasing a dvd on amazon.ca, it was $79.95 with the free shipping on amazon.com it was $55.95 with the international shipping ( Read more... )

Is it lame that I am beyond excited that Vancouver (well not Vancouver but Coquitlam) is finally getting an H&M and it's opening today?
