I remember walking around Oak Park, Illinois, as a child with my mom and my Great Aunt Clara. Aunt Clara was an art teacher, and she also had a keen eye for architecture. On June 21, I boarded Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited (in a "roomette"). The next day in Chicago I boarded Amtrak's Southwest Chief (in a "room") and arrived in Albuquerque the next day. Stayed in Albuquerque Saturday night and drove to Scottsdale AZ on Sunday. Here are some photos:
