Well, I'm out $20. Guess I shouldn't have bet on the Oscars. Gandhi said Slumdog Millionaire would win and even though everyone else said it too, I told him it wouldn't. It was just a lucky guess, he only picked it because it's about India. There were some tough contenders this year though. If any the films stood alone in the category any other

I gotta be honest, I tried watchin' Slumdog Millionaire an' I couldn't get interested in it. It's more tolerable than Twilight...which I will not fuckin' watch. The Hell kinda bullshit is that anyway? Top three outta all the shitty movies they put out were The Dark Knight, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, an' Milk; end of story.

Haha, I heard Twilight sucked but I can't even imagine how awful it'd be if you were actually a vampire. I heard that instead of being sensitive to the sun, it just makes them sparkle. Maybe you should see if you can get Dok to make it so you sparkle when you go outside, eh?

That's sorta early for spring break to start, isn't it? ...well, I guess as long as it's warm enough to go to the beach, it doesn't really matter.

A lot of schools do it in March now. But we're in California, so it's not like we have a lot of cold weather. And if there is then most people just go somewhere warmer.

Even if it is cold, it's not like I'm a beach person. So that doesn't really mess with my plans.

Lucky. I lived in California for a few years and I really miss the weather.

Yeah, but y'know, it's tradition! I'm not always big on beaches myself, but that's the whole point of spring break.

Meh, clearly the Oscars are all about politics and backalley dealings. I mean, come on. NONE of those movies had enough dismemberments and/or explosions in them.

There's a good chance that they're rigged. But the Academy generally tries to stay away from those kinds of films. Too mainstream. Dark Knight had explosions though.
