Ok, I am sure you are aware that you are a genius of alliteration... and I actually re-read your post aloud to hear the lovely flow... :)

Nicely done!

I don't know about genius. More like, I keep alliteration chained up to the radiator in the basement and occasionally work it over with a Louisville Slugger whenever I need to present something in text.

Thank you for the high praise, though. It is appreciated. If it weren't for the wife, my writing wouldn't even be legible in most cases.

"Her name is Muddy Death. Her name is HamletlovesOphelia. Her name is educator. Her name is unifier. Her name is action. Her name is mother. Her name is Penelope. Her name is Aphrodite. Her name is Xena. Her name is mindfulness. Her name is beauty."

Such high praise! I love it. I think the whole entry is wonderful, but the "Her name is"-s are particularly lovely.

And I second the comment about flow. This entry was very aesthetically pleasing to the ear.

In her beta read of that section, she got a little misty eyed.

I'm a fan of flow. My prose usually takes on a poetic quality or stream of consciousness that either clashes with the flow or compliments it in equal measure.

Thank you for reading.

Welcome, my friends, to the show that never ends, come inside, come inside, come inside!!!!

Don't worry. Gary's got it coming. Alliteration can't hog all the loving textual abuse.

...I possibly have issues.

I don't think we've met, but this post more than remedies that.

I for one adore alliteration, and whenever I read some writer's advice to avoid it I chortle, rub my palms together with devilish delight and swear to use it as often as I please because it pleases me to do so.

Great combination of week zero and week one's prompts.

Capote once said that you can't teach creative writing. Far be it for me to call him any sort of master, but the point stands that every writer and reader are going to be different.

Thank you for reading. I look forward to seeing you more as the competition proceeds.
