The last time I stepped outside of the box like that, I turned back on around and crushed the container behind me, as Gary pointedly put it.

The box then promptly burst into flames.

That entry was Eldrid Unne: Compulsion, a strange fever dream entry for Idol meant as a continuation to a one act play. To this day, I blame delusion.

You'll please excuse me if I'm not in a hurry to lose what little audience I may garner that particular way again.

I write what I'd want to read. It takes time and editing. But I enjoy putting words together to be pleasing, atmospheric or show the head space of the piece's voice.

My kryptonite is hearing when anyone loves my use of the language. As hard as it is for me to write sometimes, it's good when it seems to pay off in anyone liking it.
