SAD (a disease!)
Hmm... I suspect many transplanted New Orleanians are suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). I read an article explaining how many suffered from it but didn't know till they moved from an area like Florida to someplace more seasonal. No more moaning about cold basement mornings. No more complaining about Atlanta traffic. Or general job woes. It's all coming to a close.

The price tag for protection against a Category 5 hurricane, (stronger levees, new drainage canals and environmental restoration)... $32 billion.

I think this is a really great project!Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis are working with Habitat for Humanity to create a "village" for New Orleans musicians who lost their homes to Hurricane Katrina and its floods.
