Whilst we were in England, I drank (probably) more than my fair share of Coke and/or Pepsi.

Why? Partly because it tasted soooooooooooooo bloody good.

All; down to the fact that European Cola bottlers and syrup makers still use good ol' fashioned sugar in the manufacture of their product.

Murphy is proving to be a very good match for our household. Indeed, he may turn out to be the most intelligent of the three of us. He's very clever, fast to learn and has quickly settled into our routine, such as it is.

Last year I found myself back in contact with a friend, Neville, who I was in college with in the late 70's and who I stayed in touch with until maybe 1982.

Went to Molly Malone's in Covington this lunchtime to watch "my" SFC play a live game on TV against Bristol City.

Once again, a worldwide TV audience. Once again a fucking shambles of a performance.

We lost one-nil.

In fact, we were lucky to get nil.

Our attack was about as useful as Anne Frank's drumkit.
