With the temperature cooling and the Light Rail opening up in Phoenix this December, I'm thinking of buying a bike to leisurely get around on. I'm not too sure what kind to get. I'm thinking of a standard mountain bike that's not too expensive. Any thoughts?

I sometimes receive spam e-mails at work and just delete them without opening them. I don't want to waste my time with it. This morning I actually received an e-mail titled "Anti-spammers are Lamers". I'm wondering if they are trying to get us to read these e-mails by insulting any anti-spam software or people that create the anti-spam software.

Where has the time gone? Last year at this time I found out that I passed my professional engineer's test. I have been one now for a year. I still feel like I JUST graduated from college. That was 6 years ago. I have done some fantastic things since, but I'm just mad the time is going so fast now.

This Saturday is my parent's anniversary. Sunday is Father's Day. For my Father's Day present I decided to call my dad and remind him of his anniversary. He always forgets. I really need to stop buying Caribbean stuff for my dinning room. Or I should turn my bedroom or living room into a Caribbean theme too. I got 2 things in Rocky point that had that theme. This is the first time I have internet at home. It's kind of weird to be in my home and be able to look on the internet. I can e-mail people and check stuff in my pajamas.

I passed my Professional Engineering test! I took it in October. I spent 2 and a half months studying for it. I'm so excited to get it over with! The test was HELL! I am a Professional Engineer and I don't have to take any more tests. I don't have to study for the rest of my life.

I can't get a hold of Heather to see how she did.

I made it safely back home where it is cooler than what I left in Vienna. Ironic. I wanted to escape from the heat by going to Europe, but I ended up having it worse over there. All 3 cities(Berlin, Prague, and Vienna) were beautiful and I plan to go back to each one of them some day. I'm glad I went and I met some great people on my tour group ( Read more... )

Do not come here in June. It is as hot as Arizona plus it has humidity. Its really awesome and everything looks really old, but I'm moist inside and out. I think it would be great here if you went during the fall months. It's really cool that they have light rail cars and auto cars on the same road. It's like what I hope Phoenix will be.
