Prepping for Round 9

We are now preparing for Round 9 of Circle of Friends. (Yes, we realize this may conflict with NaNoWriMo and Yuletide. Just as with last year, circumstances kept us from starting earlier, and we can’t go any later and still do it this year

I just did the math in my head about how long ago you remixed "Silk and Sandals," and it startled me for a moment. I also remember thinking at the time that the remix turned out better than the original, and I remember that by the time you finished doing the research into Samurai Jack for the story that you knew the show and the character better than I did at the time. (I have since then watched the rest of the series, along with the ten episode recent revival of the show that told the rest of his story).

Nice to be participating in another Remix with you. :-)

It's called "research" (smirk). I had not seen the show, but I had cable at the time, and they were showing it. I ended up falling in love with it, he was such a cool character.

Oh cool, I didn't know they had done that.

I seriously haven't written more than a few ficlets since 2012, so it's a bit scary.
