Last weekend was Aunt Dawn's wedding to Jason Kavorik. Yay! Eloise was one of two flower girls, and I was a bridesmaid. Everybody was beautiful, including Amelia in a little matching dress. Over Father's Day weekend, we went camping at Conewago near Hershey. We spent Saturday trying to stay out of the rain at Chocolate World, and spent Sunday at Hershey Park. I've been in training for the past week and a half, and it's been ok. Mostly learning about what other parts of the organization do.
Today I finally fixed the front of our silverware drawer, which had come off a while ago.

We can't escape the germs! I've had a nasty head cold since Saturday (5 days now), and yesterday Eloise caught it. She has a Dr appointment for this afternoon in light of her recent eye and ear infections. Luckily Amelia and dlatimer  seem to be ok right now.

Amelia at 14mo has had two more teeth come though last week, but not the two I expected. She got two more on the top in sort of the molar-ish area. This gives her 6 on top and 2 on bottom. The next two on the bottom are about to come through, which is what I expected ( Read more... )

Turns out Amelia got the same infection that Eloise is being treated for, so I called the on-call dr today to get her started on antibiotics. The only downside is that I had to drive in to Bethesda to pick up her prescription. But she's now being treated, too. Barely!
Poor Eloise was sick with a fever on Sunday so she had to stay home on Monday from daycare. Luckily dlatimer  was able to stay home with her, considering it was my 1st day of work!  Then she developed an ear/sinus infection that required a dr visit on Wednesday. Again, much thanks to dlatimer  for being able to take her. She's had a few days of antibiotics ( Read more... )
