I bought my mom new pots for her back deck, cool ones that hang over the railing and nice blue ceramic ones for her patio. I offered to help her buy the plants and plant them but she declared it was too cold for them to survive. So instead she went this weekend when I was away at the ball tournament. Tomorrow is the annual media baseball tournament. I'm going to play baseball again. Please everyone pray I don't break something (or someone.)

I'd love to share my Canadian Idol experience, but I dont know how to post text as a link and not clog up all your livejournal webpages. If someone wants to enlighten me I will share my Idol story. If not, you shall all just wonder at the mystery that is my singing career.

In two hours I will be on the Canadian Idol bus, to spend the night waiting in the Canadian Idol line up, waiting for my big Canadian Idol audition in which my dreams of becoming a professional singer will be squashed like a bug.

Have you ever seen a picture of the inside of your eye? I did today. It was sooooo cool, the lense was green, the veins lovely red, the nerve was yellow. It was like a funky 60's abstract painting - only it was my eye.

I took my car in this morning to get winter tires off and get an oil change. My brakes were less grippy than usual so I ask them to check.
Turns out I need:

new brake pads $219.95
new fuel filter $62.49
not to mention oil change, tire rotation, oh yes and must pay for labour.

I'm now like $400 poorer than I was this morning.
I hate cars.
