Yes, I had that stinging in my eyes too this morning when I heard the news. More than just a tiger for sure. I'm glad I went out of my way to go walk and see him last Saturday. Poor boy. Though it's such a great thing when one animal can be so loved by an entire city.

Saturday we had a big party over here for my grandmother's birthday. Though I have no idea how old she is or if it was really her birthday that day. Us and most dad's whole side of the family went out to eat at Don's last night for my grandma's birthday. Everybody in one room like that was pretty crazy. I never met my dad's dad. Or at least not at any level I'm able to remember. He died when I was just a baby. My grandmother never remarried, but you can't be alone forever.
