Been a while...

So, the scar on my head is healing fairly well.  I am now Avery Potter, the Don who Lived.  sigh...but I have a good excuse for the next 10 years or so.  "I got hit in the head with a stick!" pretty much covers everything.

I have been thinking about the shooting in AZ a lot. On the one hand, the more evidence that comes out, the more this person is showing to be a complete lunatic. Whoop de frickin doo.

Last 3 days before off for the holidays.  Thurs night leave for Seattle.  Dad decided that he wanted to spend an actual vacation with us, so we are all flying to stay in a very nice B&B in Seattle for 6 days.  They are decorating the place for us, gonna have breakfast set aside for Xmas morning, it should be fun.  Dinner that night at Art ( Read more... )

Yesterday at Yule, I was allowed to announce that TRMs have chosen Pug and Myfanwy to be the 8th Baron and Baroness of Bryn Gwlad.  We had really good candidates, was good to have such choices available for TRMs to pick from.

8 more weeks....

Not much to say right now.  Waiting to find out who our replacements will be.  I have a pretty good idea, but the official announcement is Saturday.  Will be nice to finally know ( Read more... )
