so get this, so far (it could still get higher as more bills come in) my insurance has been billed EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND dollars in 2010. Damn. My insurance is pretty good though - my surgery cost 17 grand. My out of pocket expense? $17. Sorry for contributing to the rising cost of health care, America. 

Was released this afternoon from the hospital. That was one of my shortest stays ever! Heading in for dr appointment tomorrow but I'm doing ok apparently.  More technical baby stuff (of course) below cut.
