Today I was at the supermarket and there I saw a squid for sale. Now I've eaten squid before, in calamari, on sushi, etc... but never have I eaten A squid, let alone a raw one. So I purchased said item. It was half price, so it cost me about $2.00.

It was a little bland and really needed the mustard it came with.

Why am I still awake? I used to be so good at falling asleep. I don't feel stressed or anxious about anything. My brain just won't shut down for some reason. My head is noisy, unfocused, busy.

On the other hand, the cherry blossoms are beautiful here.

Well, that was my sad attempt at an April Fools joke. But if anyone does know a girl like Lately, I'd love to meet her uncle.

Happy Birthday to me! I am now 26. Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway. :D

I decided to start carving again today. Not having any of the tools I'm used to is making it a bit difficult. I bought some lovely knives today. They're not sharp anymore. Tomorrow I'm going to buy some more tools. This could be the end of me.
