Creating the sun-skin language
Someone pointed me to Holly Lisle's site sometime ago, and once there I found her Create A Language Clinic. So I bought it and have been working it to define the language my native people speak (in my story A Far Sun).

Controversy surrounding my writing

Over the weekend I had a substantial controversy with my wife over my writing "hobby." It's not that she thinks it's a hobby, it's that she thinks I spend too much time doing it. She also doesn't see why I refer to it as "work."

So close
I have been working away at my story (A Far Sun), trying like mad to get to the end of act II. Between last night and today I unwrote about 500 words and have written another 4800, or so. Seventeen pages. I have only just gone over it and fixed the odd tpyo and such, but I like how I'm keeping my heroes up to their necks in trouble. I do hate ( Read more... ) -
Reagan Wilcox, Chapter 4 (partial)
Last night I had an awful time with the friggin' LJ-Cut. What a pain! However, this is completely new and so warm it's still ... steaming. I dunno, I guess I'm trying to avoid working on A Far Sun right now. I guess I still need time to think about it, and that's OK. This will suffice to assuage my writing addiction.
