I should  be getting ready for school right now. But all I can think about is how Band-o-Rama is Wednesday and I'm actually excited. Not for symphony band, but marching band. I'm excited for the crazy tempos and the intense rush of adrenaline. We're going to be awesome.

My stomach is doing intense somersaults. I want this, I want this, I want this, and I refuse to let you take it away from me. I won't fall short. I won't.

I feel like listening to sad/mellow music and lying in bed all day. Maybe it's because I'm sick, but I have absolutely no motivation this afternoon. I finished my math homework early this morning but have a lot of English left, some errands to run, e-mails to send, and my NHS essay/narritave thing to write. I pretty much got stabbed in the eyeball today walking down to 5th hour (although I can't be mad because the kid who did it was really nice and apologetic) and hit myself in the cheekbone with my instrument during the run. Seriously. I'm surprised I didn't fall down more this afternoon.

Buuuuuuuuut. I got a 102% on my math test.

I've been in school a week and have already written two impromptus, taken one quiz, and been assigned two projects. This trimester is going to kick my butt and I'm not going to Stratford because I know if I miss I'll fall behind and won't be able to catch up.
