Was re-eading Ellen Kushner's mannerpunk Swordspoint last night (wonderful book that ages well), and took to wondering how the characters in the book look. This reminds me of the illustrations in some old fairy tale collections that I used to have, very French-Italian romantic in style. I love the modelling of his lips, in particular. *smiles*
