another journal entry, again

Yeah er here's another update. Though I don't really have much to say of course, except that the Death Eater activity on these journals is making me kind of nervous. You-Know-Who must be becoming really powerful if he feels comfortable enough to reveal his plans on an open forum like this! It's rather scary ( Read more... )

I actually know of a good fictional work on exactly that topic, but I don't suppose it would help.

Unless you know where you can get your hands on a dragon?

Uhhh, I suppose I could ask Ron Weasley's older brother, see if he can get me a dragon.

Why?

Well, it was just fiction, but you never know; I think sometimes, Muggle fiction writers are actually witches and wizards using pen names, teasing us Muggles with just a little hint of the truth and pretending it's all make-believe.

Anyway, in this series, which is pretty cracking, actually, at least for the first few books, the dragons have the ability to teleport from place to place, and then someone figures out they can do it from time to time as well.

Adventure ensues, you know.

As far as real books on time travel, I'd imagine you'll be wanting the restricted section when we get back to school.

Yeah, I was thinking the restricted section as well. After all, I don't know if dragons can actually teleport! Maybe I could ask Ron Weasley's brother. What's his name? Charles?

You mustn't fiddle with time! Such dangerous games disrupt the delicate balance of rhyme and reason, and sends the scale toppling into chaos! One must depend on fate, and hope that what was lost in this life will be made up for in the next.

Yeah, death eaters are totally uncool.

I suppose you have a point Dean. I simply find the subject fascinating, I wasn't going to meddle with it or anything.

They are, aren't they?

Death Eater Activity? What are you talking about? I see no Death Eater Activity around here.

I do see a rather benign and pleasantly helpful pamphlet, as well as some innocent conversation. I don't see where this is something to become alarmed over.

Really, Corner. Relax! Enjoy your waning summer!

Why don't I send you a Buddy Death Eater Plushie to keep you company. I am assured by our lawyer that nearly all of the carcinogens have been removed from the fabric!

Uh...no thanks, Malfoy, I think I'll do fine without a plushie.

I, of course, am interested in Time Traveling. Fascinating things they are, I actually saw a Time-Turner once! Interesting contraptions. But! I can send you some books about the subject if you wish. I have some written by muggles (their thoughts and imaginations - all fiction, of course) and a lot written by wizards. Need I send it by owl?

Always willing to help.

Oh, it'd be great if you could owl me those books, mate. That way I can start my research before I return to Hogwarts.
