[In the early afternoon, a small creature makes its way out of the forest. It holds the journal in its teeth; the book drags along the ground, making the little thing stop occasionally.
[The Marauding Bridge. Jack has been drawn to this place in his restlessness lately, much of which has been brought on by dreams of the Black Pearl.
After waking from one such dream, it's only a matter of time before the pirate collects his also-restless monkey and his wandering feet find their way to the bridge. He had promised not to maraud there anymore, but promises can be so easily broken when no one is watching...
And then there is a strange sight: some sort of...animal? Jack doesn't know. But it does seem to have a journal...]
