Kitten update

The kittens are very much at home now. They've settled in wonderfully and as of last weekend, they've gotten all their required shots and are fixed and microchipped and licensed. I've named the black female Matilda and the male grey tabby Charlie. Charlie just looks like a Charlie and he is sweet like the character in Charlie and the Chocolate

The city of Albuquerque strongly encourages pet owners to get their pets microchipped. It is a tiny electronic chip that is inserted via hyperdermic needle just under the animal's skin. Nearly all shelters have scanners to scan animals brought in to identify pets that have been found.
