I have spent my summer basically gearing up enough of my inner boldness to actually contact a school that trains forklift truck drivers and sign up for a course. Then I booked a room for three nights at a youth hostel near the school.

The Sims game I wrote about yesterday? It stole so much time, I thought, so I deinstalled it. I might put it back at some other time, when I need the distraction that that game can offer, but right now is *not* a good time in my life to get obsessed with Sims.

I bought Sims yesterday. Not the new Sims3 but the old, original game. Then I played it. And played. And played. Then I went to bed. Then I played some more this morning.

I had heard that that game was addictive, but this is ridiculous!
