So things are about to kick into a higher gear, I think. I hope so, anyway!

Last update, I mentioned that we had a realtor coming out to talk about selling our current house. Since we don't have much equity in the place (the curse of having bought juuust before the bubble burst in the late-aughts), we thought we'd start with one of the companies

That sounds exhausting just reading about it all! Definitely exciting, though! I hope it all falls into place and things are easier and smoother than expected. Bummer about the health insurance plan, but perhaps that will work out okay, too?

So far I'm surprised at how smoothly everything has gone, I certainly hope that continues! I thought we'd started purging and packing too early, but it's a good thing we did--these past few weeks would have been impossible if we hadn't already pared down a bit. I've been recommending to everyone, every decade or so, purge like you're moving even if you aren't. You'll be amazed at the crap you've been saving for no reason! :)
