A huge sigh of relief
I went down to Camden for a little bit of a pub crawl yesterday and was just soooo happy to see that neither the Stables nor the Lock market had burned down. The only bit that was cordoned off by police was Camden High Street/Chalk Farm Road in between the Elephant's Head shortly up until the "back" entrance to the Stables market ( Read more... ) -

Just returned from a fab long weekend in good old Germany. Although weather conditions have been similar to the ones described by Swiss Andrea, i.e. pouring down like you wouldn't believe, we had so much fun there. Amazing how they've pulled themselves out of Katrina. It did take us some time until the whole scale of the damage kinda rang home coz you don't really notice that much at the start, at least not in the French quarter (that's where we're staying). Munich sucks....
Still recovering from the worst hangover in my life... Joined an old friend on Monday for a Carnival party in this student club we used to haunt in the old days.
