Our fourth was pretty low key - went to a cookout with some friends that we haven't seen in a while - they have two daughters - 14 and 10...they kept Ashley occupied. Happy Friday
Ashley decided to get up at 4am today - and I tried for almost 2 hours to get her back down..no go...instead she wanted to fuss and cry. So, I got us dressed and out the door by 6:15 and of course, as soon as the car started, she was out. So I drove around for almost 40 minutes. Why being a working mom sucks a**
I had a meeting with my boss today - she is also a mom…she says she will be in by 6AM but there is no way I can make it in that early so I tell her 7. I BUST MY A** to get here - I had to wake Ashley up, we all raced around the house like lunatics, I dropped her off at daycare by 6:30 (she was of course, the first baby) and race up to work. So, MIL is at it again. I found out that the two parties are on the same day, same time. So after much consideration and fighting -DH says we are not changing the date…now, the real question, will he stick to his guns once his mom starts ranting. Father’s Day was good. Pretty uneventful. DH liked his cards and gifts (I got him a pair of Ray Ban’s) - we went to both sets of parents. I’ve decided that not only do I hate MIL, I hate her Mother and her sister. They are a bunch of a**holes. All I get is grief. Today I came in to find that I won baseball tickets for next month through our work raffle- so excited because we've been wanting to take Ashley to a baseball game. I have four seats so will have to find two more people to take ( Read more... ) -
Why my Mom sucks
The Father’s Day stress has started. MIL is already on top of me to find out what our plans are. DH said he doesn’t want to spend all day over there but that is probably what will end up happening…he will get over there and then his Mom will want to cook something and then before you know it, the whole day is shot. Weekend Recap
We had a good weekend. Saturday, MIL watch A and I met a friend at the mall. We shopped - I didn’t get much because I am so depressed about my body - I weigh less than I did when I got pregnant, yet everything looks like cr*p on me. I am so flabby and loose.
