Ariadne found the easiest way to draw was flat on her stomach with her legs kicked up behind her. This way she was guaranteed a flat surface to work on, and she was less likely to be disturbed. Sight is very important to an architect. Ariadne always got a feel for what she she would create from studying the buildings and their facades closely. When she woke up free of her cold, but without any sight she could have cried. However she was made of sterner stuff than that ( Read more... )
