Beginning to wonder if coming to IL was the right decision. Tyler would rather spend all of his free time with his friend Douglass and Douglass's family than with his own. Like today. Easter Sunday. He's there right now, and we are home alone.

Chicago, here I come!! Yes, Great Lakes is a suburb of Chicago, and in 2-3 weeks, we should be there with Tyler. One week until I see my husband after 9 weeks being separated. I am so excited. I can't wait. I kind of have to, but I don't want to thats for sure. A prayer request for anyone who can send one up. Tyler still needs to pass his running test for Boot Camp. He takes it next week, and then the Wednesday after that is when we are supposed to fly out for his graduation. There is no graduation without him passing his run, so any prayers/ good thoughts sent his way would be appreciated!

4 weeks left to Pass In Review. We are in the downhill stretch. And my husband can stop stressing alone in GL. I got his paycheck today. All the bills that were supposed to get paid this month, ARE. The joy of Christmas. I can see it in my sons eyes. He looks out the window at the Christmas lights on the porch and says "OOOOOO MAMA, pretty lights." He watches Christmas episodes of Dora and Diego, and is so excited that they are helping Santa, and that Santa has presents. I am having my first roadblock with the Navy. Tyler sent me a letter(it was wonderful) and in it was a card with instructions from him to call them every day, to check on if I am set up or not for insurance, and that I should be getting insurance paperwork soon ( Read more... )
