My Grandma passed away on Christmas Eve.  I've written about her on LJ before, but not for quite some time.  The news is still  in the process of sinking in and my feelings are conflicted.  I'm sad that I will never see her again, but relieved that she is no longer suffering.  Her last few years on this planet were not pleasant ones.  The last time ( Read more... )

Wow!  I don't know what particular rally Al Jazeera found for this news report, but it gives me mixed feelings.   On one hand, I figure they must have found the most offensive rally that they could to prove their point. I've been stuck at SeaTac for nearly five hours now.
